agent211: I unpacked the triturator (amalgamator, amalgam mixer) and removed the two packing screws on the bottom of the machine and plugged it in. I was pleasantly surprised that it turned on and worked. I brought it into the office and tuned it to the mixes that we use. Everyone is very happy with the machine. It runs much quieter that our previous unit (we can actually hear each other talking over it when running), it is smaller, and the machine has more adjustments. Everyone is very happy with it so far.

royb: Was working fine for 7 months, but then one of the prongs on the plug broke and separated from the unit. Disappointing since we were careful with it and this broke under normal wear and tear occasional use. We only use it about 1-2x/week. Have contacted the company and am waiting to hear back on whether replacement is covered under warranty. **UPDATE ** The seller sent me a replacement triturator when it was determined that the prong could not be repaired. I appreciated their responsiveness to the situation and follow-through! That is better customer service than I was expecting because it is not an American distributor/company.
